Writing Beyond The Walls - Spreading the fire of the Dragon across the yard and beyond walls
We are inviting formerly incarcerated and systems impacted people, family members, loved ones, allies, and advocates to join us for a night of study, creativity, and connection. On Wednesday we’ll read, write, and recite : poems, letters, and teachings from political prisoners and “prisoners” impacted by the political machine. We are participating in Black August Study with our Inside Cultural Organizer Scott Barmore and other incarcerated comrades.
Session will be Led by Scott Barmore and Tau Kamau Adwin
At this gathering, we’ll also shed light on political prisoners who aren't widely known but gravely appreciated.
