About the event

You are warmly invited to join Some Things Must Be Heard: Spitting & Politicking for the We Are Each Other's Harvest Block & Build Cultural Organizing Gathering. We are gathering artists, organizers, healers, spiritual strategists, memory workers, and narrative leaders, and everyone else to confront and block far-right attacks on Black communities and Black youth in St. Louis. Together, we will co-create a powerful cultural intervention designed to shift hearts and minds from apathy, isolation, and distraction into deep connection, active engagement, and collective belonging.

This gathering anchors a three-month cultural organizing campaign to dismantle the hyper-criminalization of Blackness in St. Louis while building lasting spiritual, cultural, and political infrastructure. Our goal is to shatter the harmful notion that "that"s not my business" and replace it with a vital truth: we are each other"s harvest, and we belong to one another.

Policy changes alone cannot save us, true transformation requires restoring…
